We have decided to breed Lolita to Boy von Zorra. He is the son of Hutch vom Dunklen Zwinger. Boy has a very big grip with a clear head. He also is very nice structurally(V rated at the Sieger Show in 2009). He has a big head and dark pigment. He will be a good compliment to Lolita. It will be a line breeding on Troll/Timmy 4,5-4 and a 5-5 line breeding on Arek Stoffleblick.
Boy von Zorra
We have also decided to breed Baika to Hudson von der Kalten Hardt, when ever she comes into heat. Hudson is the son of Karn Fegelhof. Karn has produced some real good dogs with plenty of real aggression. He is linebred on Falko von Haus Sindern. This will be a total outcross for us. Which I think is good considering Baika is already linebred on Troll. Hudson is a medium large male that is more square in the body. We feel that he is a good match for Baika. Hudson and his brother Hutch were both in the BSP in 2008. I believe they were both just 3 years old.

Well Desiree(Lolita/Nathan) in the 3-6 month females came in 4th(vp4) out of 14 dogs in her class. Choctaw(Eyko/Baika) also recieved vp4 for his class. The trial was good also. Tony got his bh with Arie(Lolita/Valdo)l, Alissa( our club member) got ipo 3 with Portia(her doberman), and Ivana made ipo 3 with Lolita(88,88,96) All in all, a good weekend for us. I would like to say thanks to Autumn for handling Desiree so well for her father. I think he owes you girl!

Dezzy ( the absolute youngest in the class) makes a smashing VP5 at the Schaferhund Schutzhund Clubs Northeast Conformation Show in Flowerfield Long Island.
Called out 4th in a class of 10 Black & Red show Line dogs. She gated nicely the whole time and kept her head held high and was filled with expression. She moved back 1 place and ended up in 5th., but she worked very hard and truly owned her spot. She was a big hit before, during and after the class.
Way to go Rich, Sue and gang-Don

Well Ivana and Lolita trialed this weekend at our club-QSC. They both did very well. A little trouble in tracking, but obedience and protection were very nice. Obedience was about as good as you can get for Lolita. Protection could of been a couple of points higher, but her last grip, she jumped to the top of the sleeve and bit with her canines(I guess you could say helper error). They earned a qualifying score to the Nationals(if Ivana wants to go). Their scores were 84,94,95- 273. I am proud of them both. Just think, 4 weekes before this, Lolita was still with her puppies.

Rich was nice enough to drive from Kentucky to the WDC to show us our pup, Cizzi. I could not believe how much she looks like her brother, Choctaw, temperament and everything. When I was walking Chocky yesterday, I had a gentleman to approach me saying:" He looks like Rich's dog." "Yeah, it's her brother."

Well she has done it, 9 healthy pups were born on Wednesday 2-17. All are dark sable, and healthy so far. She had 4 males and 5 females. Lolita is very busy feeding most of the time. With 9, meal time is a long time!

First breeding to Nathan went fantastic. Nate is a man of action! We had a tie in less than 5 minutes. He is a looker! Big head, strong bone, very nice, dark pigment and fantastic temperament. Good choice, Don! We'll be back for another breeding on Monday but I feel good about today. Lolita was ready. Hopefully we'll have another healthy litter of little rebels on the ground soon.

When you finally decide for a puppy the first challenge is to find the right name. This is a C litter, not too many good choices there to begin with. Weeks of internet searches reading through hundreds of names did not bring any brilliant ideas either. I narrowed it to three names: Cochise, Choctaw, and Chief. Cochise, my first choice, was terribly refused by Don. There goes my long love for Apache Indians, led by the great Vinnetou and his blood brother Old Shatterhand, the famous fiction figures created in a head of Karel May. Goodbye my childhood dreams. I could
call him Chief but I don't want to get the wrong idea into his head. He's been growling at me since he was three weeks old and sooner or later we will face the question: Who is the boss? Chief? I don't think so.
Choctaw. Another choice that was not very welcomed by Don but if he has to agree to one of my crazy ideas, it will be Choctaw over Cochise. Why would not he name a dog after a tribe name of his ancestors?
Looking at the little fat puppy last night hopping around the living room there was only one choice – Choctaw. That's what his name is going to be and that's what I'm going to call him when we play our nightly "follow the hotdog in my hand" game. Our first challenge is over. The next one? His testicles have to come down.

We have decided to breed our crazy girl Lolita to Beth Bradley's Nathan Vom Fegelhof. We've been watching this dog since 2007 North Americans and we are more than impressed with his accomplishments over the past few years.

November 6-8, Lolita and I compete at GSD Nationals in Iowa. 81,78,79! Obedience no send out, and protection- 1st time ever she came off of the long grip. Small problems we can fix for next year!
