We whelped a healthy litter of 8 puppies (3 males, 5 females) a couple days ago. All puppies and momma are doing great. It was an easy affair for me since Baika insist on doing everything herself and does not want any help. More info about this litter can be found on our F Litter page.

Lolita's pregnancy has been confirmed by her growing belly. :) Her puppies are expected in about 2.5 weeks.

Lolita made it home safe from her extended vacation in Europe. We are glad to have her back. Hopefully we'll find out soon that there are some puppies in her belly.

Don was selected as one of the helpers for UScA Sieger Show in Dallas. We thought that it might be a great experience for Emily to go with us and run in the show ring with some black and red dogs. Adela took the ring training very seriously and her puppy performed better than we expected.

Introducing Emily vom Rebel Yelle, VP8 at UScA Sieger Show!

Our club receives Regional Director's Award and it's a runner up for Presidential Award.  We have only been a club since April 09 and this accomplishment means a lot!

Yes, it's a picture of a show dog. :) This is Elis, a daughter of my female Nulise. I cannot even believe that this came out of my dog!
Couple years ago I wanted to breed to Andrjusha van Noort, sent my parents to 10 hour trip to Germany, Andrjusha's German owner was a total jerk and the breeding did not happened. A year later my parents bred to Hill Mihapa, Andrjusha's son. Elise is a result of that breeding. BTW, the US owners of Andrjusha, von Monroo Haus, are super nice people.

Our club show turned out to be better than expected. After weeks of worrying about the number of entries we have ended up with over 30 entries for the show and 8 entries for the breed survey. Hans-Jurgen turned out to be quite a character and we had a good time with him. Adela and I have spend many afternoons in a show ring preparing our puppies for the show. Adela is quite a double handler! We showed Dora in 6-9 class, she earned VP2, and Choctaw in 9-12 class, he earned VP1. He was the only one in the class but it's his 2nd VP from two different judges. Not bad for my little coyote ugly. Both pups did pretty good in the ring. The work me and Adela did certainly showed. On Sunday, Baika earned a breed survey for life.

Niagara Working Dog Club did a fabulous job organizing the regionals. Even though our final score was not what we hoped for, we had a good weekend. Lolita, 3 weeks pregnant, decided that obedience is overrated, started with crawling into the blind, did nice stand in motion when she was supposed to sit, hit me like a bag of bricks on her recall and followed two steps behind me in place of stand in motion. Dumbbells were super and so was the send out but it did not help to pass the obedience. Her protection was smoking and she had the best track of her schutzhund carrier - 95 points.
Cannot thank Bruno enough for his tips on tracking that dog. I had fun trialing Lolita this season and I hope that she'll keep it up with her tracking for Don next year.

What a weekend! On Saturday, I trialed Lolita for IPO3 at USRC trial under SVF Franz Kampenhuber, 88-88-96-272! The judge did not know much English but his ear to ear smile while we were reporting out after protection said it all. He was so happy to show me the score sheet with a V score. I was sweating it with Alisa, her and Portia earned IPO3 as well. It was a pleasure to share the field with them. Tony and Ariel earned BH.
On Sunday, under the same judge, we took Choctaw to the show ring and I realized that the working dogs do require much more ring training than show dogs. It was not pretty but he got his first VP rating! Desiree, Lolita's daughter, earned VP4. Not bad for a gray dog in a ring with 11 other black and red puppies. A compliment from Franz on our breeding program was an icing on a cake.

Our spring club trial was a blast. We had 20 entries. Bruno Kastelic stayed with us for almost a week and went out with me and Lolita every morning when we did obedience. Lolita's pups were only 10 weeks old this weekend and she managed to pull 84-94-95- 273! I was so proud of her!

June 21st - we went to Regional Conformation show and Tia got SG2 in youth class. Not bad for a working female! Well, fortunately she's got some show background. :) That must be the reason why she is so natural in the ring and gates and stacks without any training!
I showed Prex in a veteran class and he, once again, demonstrated the beauty of the breed. As the judge said, he moves better at his age (9 years old) than most of the young dogs showed that day. Way to go, old man!  -I
